Hi, I’m Dr. Megan Anderson.

I am Doctor of Physical Therapist, Certified Athletic Trainer, and Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist. I am certified in pelvic floor physical therapy through the Institute of Clinical Excellence.

I have more than 10 years experience working with athletes to get them back to the sport they love. I am committed to client-centered care and take the time to listen to your story and needs and work with you to create a personalized plan that will get you the results you desire.

I am married to my husband West and together we have a beautiful daughter. We enjoy spending our weekends riding at Croom or attending Florida Trail Riders Harescramble races.

Do you take insurance?

I want to provide a high standard of treatment based on your needs and not dictated by what insurance reimburses. Insurance can be a great tool, however, it can be very restrictive in terms of visits and the type and length of therapy they will pay for. Managing codes, claims and reimbursement takes time away from my clients and is inefficient.

We are Out Of Network (OON) with insurance and are happy to provide you a receipt or superbill at your appointment in order for you to submit to your insurance for reimbursement.

Full payment is expected at the beginning of the appointment.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do you treat patients virtually outside of Florida?

The answer to this is yes and no.

If you are seeking wellness services to improve health, fitness, and performance the answer is YES.

If you are seeing skilled physical therapy for pain or a specific injury the answer is NO.

Due to practice laws I can only treat people who are physically in the state of Florida be it virtually or in person.

My Approach

I take a fitness forward, individualized approach. While everyone is similar, everyone is also very different in terms of how they tolerate exercise, recover, and how much time and effort they can realistically commit to improving their health. Everyone deserves a say in what their care looks like. This is why all plans and treatments are individualized and why I offer both in person and virtual visits.

Do I need a referral?

In Florida you do not need a referral to be seen by a physical therapist if you have ever been seen for the condition you are seeking care for.

However, if this is a new condition, if after 30 days of therapy I do not see any improvements, I will refer you to a physician or orthopedic doctor to schedule a consult.

Most clients who see me first and quickly after an injury, do not end up needing imaging or further referrals and will begin to see improvements after a few treatments sessions.
